Skeletal remains found at Monroe County Airport

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after a hiker reported finding human skeletal remains in a wooded area near the Monroe County Airport last week.

Roger Kerr named new Bloomington Fire Chief

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) — Bloomington Mayor Kerry Thomson has named interim fire chief Roger Kerr as the new Chief of the Bloomington Fire Department. Kerr has been serving as interim chief since January 1, filling a vacancy by the resignation of former chief Jason Moore, who stepped down at the end of last year.

Mother arrested after police find drugs in child's bedroom

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) — A Bloomington mother is charged with a long list of felony drug and child neglect charges after police allegedly found meth, fentanyl, and other drug paraphernelia throughout her home, including in her children's bedrooms.
