An Indiana University alumna was among the 64 people on board an American Eagle flight that crashed into the Potomac River after colliding with a helicopter in Washington D.C. Wednesday night.
Asra Hussain, 26, graduated from the Kelley School of Business with a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy, her father-in-law Hashim Raza confirmed to IUSTV News.
Hussain also had a minor in Finance and a Masters in Health Administration from Columbia University. Her husband, Hamaad Raza, is also an IU graduate but was not on board the flight.
Raza said his son and daughter-in-law married in August 2023.
