BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The Monroe County Coroner has identified the man who was found murdered in a homeless encampment last week.
Using fingerprints, the man was identified as 31-year-old Shaquille Phillips.
BACKGROUND:
Phillips was unhoused at the time of his death. The man accused in the murder was arrested by Bloomington Police the day after Phillips' body was found.
An official cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
