IU flu shot clinic

Flu season is right around the corner, but IU has students, faculty, and staff covered. The flu clinic started earlier this month at the health center on campus.

According to IU Health, the flu causes over 200 thousand hospitalizations and 24 thousand deaths on average each year.

October 26 and 29 are the last days available for students, faculty, and staff to schedule a flu shot.

Last Thursday and Friday, the Indiana Department of Health held a COVID-19 booster shot clinic on campus at 800 N Indiana Ave.

The booster shots are free, and they ask patients to bring their COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations are available. They’ll also offer the flu vaccine.
