BLOOMINGTON — The Bloomington Police Department said a call about a possible active shooter at the College Mall was determined to be a false alarm.
BPD says that the call came around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, and officers who arrived at the mall determined that there was no public safety threat.
Police later determined that there was miscommunication between a caller and a third party over Monday’s shooting at Winslow Plaza, leading to the false alarm.
