A Bloomington woman is facing a Level 6 felony after police say she threatened to kill people and bomb the Monroe County Central Emergency Dispatch Center.

Police say Star. L Bragg, 49, made two calls to the Bloomington Police Department Records Division on December 10.

In the first call, she allegedly said she planned to kill people and shoot an explosive device into the Dispatch Center. Moments later, she called back and demanded the building be evacuated.

Officers were immediately sent to check the Dispatch Center, while detectives traced the phone number used in the calls. Bragg was located soon after and taken into custody without incident.

She was transported to the Monroe County Jail and preliminarily charged with intimidation, a Level 6 felony.
