No injuries in Bartholomew County plane crash

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. — A pilot and passenger of a crashed single-engine plane managed to walk away without any injuries in Bartholomew County Tuesday night.

According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff, officers responded to the plane crash near Seymour Rd and County Road 500 West around 6:30 p.m.

Both people on the plane were able to get out on their own. No other information was available.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have opened an investigation into the crash.
