BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The Bloomington Police Department is mourning the unexpected loss of one of their K9 police dogs.

Ike, has been a K9 with the department since August of 2014. The cause of his passing was not announced.
"With great sadness we honor K9 Ike, who unexpectedly passed away this morning. Ike proudly served the citizens of Bloomington since August of 2014. We thank him for his service and will miss him greatly. Rest easy, Ike," the department posted on their Facebook page.
