BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a 81 year old from Bloomington was killed in a two-car crash at the intersection of N. Curry Pike and W. Vernal Pike on Tuesday.
Police say a 24-year-old driver in a Chevy Silverado was going south on Curry Pike, when they disregarded a traffic signal and hit a Honda CRV, driven by the 81 year old, who was in the intersection turning west onto Vernal Pike.
The names of both drivers have not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
