UPDATE: missing Columbus man found safe

COLUMBUS, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The state-wide Silver Alert for a missing Columbus man has been canceled after police say he was safely located.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Columbus Police Department is trying to find a missing man out of Bartholomew County.

Police say 30-year-old David Lackey was last seen on Friday around 4 p.m.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police believe Lackey to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
