BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The Bloomington Street department nearly a dozen new city welcome signs Monday on the city limits. Welcome signs are found on the outer edges cities and towns welcoming travelers and visitors to the area.
The signs purchased by the city of Bloomington will display the city population, the current mayor, as well as the accomplishments of the city. In a video update announcing the project, Mayor John Hamilton says that this was a goal of his since he took office in 2016.
