When it’s revealed that Jack isn’t joke certified yet. he finds himself attending writer’s camp in order to get his certification to tell the funnies. But that’s easier said than done, as Jack faces numerous obstacles including a bully who just won’t quit. Meanwhile, Alex attempts to recast Jack for the time being as Jack learns the true power of friendship and comedy.
