Indiana University named 19th prettiest college campuses in America

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) – Indiana University has once again been named in a list of “The 53 Prettiest College Campuses in America.” Architectural Digest gave IU 19th place.

They attributed IU’s beauty to the state’s limestone used in all the buildings except for two on campus.

Architecture Digest factored in architectural legacy and setting into each school’s rankings. They also looked at “aesthetic vision” and a “unified look.”

Other universities on the list include Notre Dame (Notre Dame, Ind.), Belmont University (Nashville, Tenn.), Baylor University (Waco, Texas), and Northwestern (Evanston, Ill.).
