Grace Marocco has been a reporter for IUSTV since enrolling at Indiana University in 2022.

She is the new co-host of What’s Up Weekly alongside Carson Johnson.

With a profound interest in broadcast journalism and storytelling, she has found her calling in capturing stories that unfold within Bloomington.

Ever since high school, Marocco has exhibited a passion for journalism. She was a part of a nationally ranked News Production Team while competing in Business Professionals of America at Twin Lakes High School.

In 2022, she earned the title of Indiana CTE Student of the Year for her accomplishments in her high school’s journalism and business programs. She independently created, produced, and hosted her own news show, which garnered recognition from universities such as Michigan State University, Indiana University and Ball State University.

Transitioning into college, Marocco integrated her love for journalism into her academic pursuits. As a member of the IUSTV team, Marocco was named Best Reporter of the Year in 2023.

She is particularly interested in covering topics for “What’s Up Weekly,” IUSTV’s weekly entertainment show.

Beyond the realm of reporting, Marocco actively participates in Delight Ministries and Royal Encounters. She is a member of the Ernie Pyle Scholar’s Cohort and Hutton’s Honors College.

On campus, you can almost always find her listening to Taylor Swift’s music.
