MONROE COUNTY, Ind. (IUSTV News) – The Monroe Fire Protection District and deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department responded to a serious crash at the intersection of W. Eller Rd and State Road 45 early Monday morning.
Officials say crews were dispatched to the area around 6:40 a.m. for a two-vehicle collision. First responders reported finding two vehicles with front-end damage.
One of the cars was located in a ditch, but no one was trapped.
Officials have stated that one person was transported to the hospital for treatment.

This is not the first incident at the intersection of Eller Road and State Road 45. In September, a Greene County woman lost her life in a fatal head-on collision with another vehicle.
