According to court documents, Floren was babysitting the girl and four other siblings between July 3 and 9.
The alleged abuse began when Floren invited a 17-year-old boy, who police have not identified, to her apartment.
The girl told police Floren told the boy that the girl was 15, not 12.
Court documents reveal that during this hangout, Floren gave the girl an unknown pill, had her take a hit of a blunt, and the 17 year old made several unwanted sexual advances on the girl.
Floren and the teen boy allegedly then had sex in front of the girl.
The next day, court documents state Floren gave the girl another unknown pill and a “weed pen” to smoke.
Later that day, the girl reported Floren took her upstairs to a separate apartment to meet a 54-year-old man Floren nicknamed, “Rat guy”.
According to court documents, Floren and the man sexually assaulted the girl, and had taken explicit photos during the interactions.
The girl told investigators that after the abuse, Floren and the man went into a separate room alone and when they left, he gave Floren a 20-dollar bill.
The next day, Floren allegedly took the girl to another apartment to meet two men.
The girl said she was given an unknown orange pill and and drank, becoming “very impaired,” but recalled being sexually assaulted and forced into having sex with the two men
According to court documents, Floren had told “Rat guy” and the two men that the girl was 18.
The girl told police she “feels like she was drugged and tricked into all of the assaults.
Police obtained a search warrant for Floren’s apartment, and found prescription bottles containing blue and white pills.
Investigators also searched Floren’s phone and reportedly found numerous explicit pictures and videos of the girl and Floren.
Other than what she admitted to happening at the 54-year-old’s apartment, police said Floren denied all other sexual allegations.
Shad appeared for an initial hearing Monday, where she entered a not-guilty plea. She remains in jail and will be back in court for a bail review hearing on August 14.
If convicted, Floren could face up to 50 years in prison for each child molesting charge, up to 12 years for each level 4 felony, and up to two-and-a half years for each level 6 felony, according to Indiana Sentencing Guidelines.
