Ashton Hackman is a junior from Fort Wayne, Indiana, studying broadcast journalism with a minor in spanish.
He is the producer for Hoosier News Source, as well as a reporter and anchor for the department. He previously served as the producer for What’s Up Weekly, and was a co-host of the show his freshman year.
Outside of the news department, Ashton is the assistant executive director for IU Student Television. He previously served as programming director his sophomore year.
When he is not working with IUSTV, you can catch him cooking, golfing, spending time with family, friends, and his dog Yogi.
