Bluebird employee charged with intentionally burning coworker using nitrous oxide

BPD

BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington Police arrested a Bluebird Nightclub employee Sunday.

Pandora Milan Langley, 22, is charged with one count of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, a Level 6 felony.

According to court documents, Langley sprayed nitrous oxide on another employee’s leg in the bathroom during the Bluebird’s Christmas party on Jan. 12, resulting in a second-degree burn.

The employee texted Langley afterward, and Langley apologized and offered to pay for medical supplies. Langley eventually stopped responding to the texts.

BPD approached Langley on Sunday at B-Town Smoke Time on Walnut Street — where she also works — and she said she was intoxicated at the party and did not remember much.

Langley was released on bond Tuesday. Her initial hearing is scheduled for Friday.
