BLOOMINGTON — An accidental fire caused damage to a garage near the State Road 46 Bypass Thursday, according to the Monroe Fire Protection District.
MFD says firefighters arrived to the garage at around 2:40pm. Part of East State Road 46 was closed for some time while firefighters worked to put out the flames.

MFD says the fire was kept from spreading to an adjacent house and the fire was accidental. No injuries were reported.
