David Baker Avenue to be closed on eclipse day

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) — Eclipse traffic is predicted to gridlock throughout Bloomington, but officials have a plan to keep emergency staff moving.

David Baker Avenue will be completely closed to all vehicles, in for police and emergency vehicles to have an accessible route to the northern part of campus, where thousands are expected to gather for IU’s planned eclipse festivities.

It is one of the only total road closures for eclipse-specific activities in the area.
