BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The IU Observatory on Social Media created a dashboard to help people decipher misleading information on the midterm elections. The data collected is from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and they plan to add more platforms to their dashboard.
The dashboard filters keywords such as "vote blue", "vote red" and other similar tags from posts. It then determines the credibility of the post based on information from News Guard.
