IU Student Television exists to create informative, entertaining, and
inspiring broadcast-quality television for the Indiana University and
Bloomington community, while at the same time giving students
real-life experience in television production and related fields.
This mission is accomplished through the production of high quality
programming in a cooperative and professional environment, where
student staff gains real-world broadcast, business, technology, and
leadership experience to enhance their academic studies.

IUSTV is one of the largest student organizations on campus with over 200 members. However we are always looking for new members to join our team. There are opportunites to gain experience in many different areas and you can earn academic credit in some cases.

Business Operations Department

The Business Operations department keeps IUSTV running by managing our finances and our image. The Business Operations department creates opportunities in marketing, finance, public relations, graphic design, and sales.

Information Technology Department

The I.T. department makes sure all computers and servers are working properly and also maintains and develops the IUSTV website and internal business software. The I.T. department gives students the opportunity to receive hands on experience in server/network administration, computer programming, database management, and web development.

News Department

The News department produces IU News and Sports programming. This department creates opportunites for directing, producing, camera work, field reporting, script writing, and hosting.

Programming Department

The Programming department is responsible for making all the entertainment programming that you see on IUSTV. Within this department you can gain experience in producing, directing, editing, camera work, field work, graphic design, and hosting.
