The Extension is entertainment. The show aims to inform, but more importantly, to amuse. By reporting on all aspects of popular culture, the show is welcoming to viewers of all shapes and sizes. After watching an episode of The Extension,you will have a better understanding of life in general. If you feel as though you are disconnected from the ‘in crowd’, watch this show, and you will be provided with an infinite supply of conversation starters that will make you seem ‘cool’. Jason is a junior at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in Design and Production. Jason is a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity where he is also the Philanthropy Chair. In his free time, Jason thinks of ways to take over the world while practicing air guitar (which he considers himself a professional at). After college, he hopes to move out to Los Angeles, California and become ridiculously successful and date at least four Sports Illustrated swimsuit models. Realistically he will end up living with his parents.
Joey is a junior at Indiana University currently majoring in Political Science & Telecommunications with a focus in design and production. He is an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity, where he enjoys being regularly involved with community service work as well as student body government. Joe’s plans upon graduation include pursuing a career involving either news broadcasting or media production within the advertising industry. His interests include playing music, watching films, developing screenplays, and spending time with friends or family. When asked about directing the IUSTV program, The Extension he was quoted as saying, “We’re going to revolutionize the way people view television …or get canceled immediately”. Joe hopes to bring a strong sense of wittiness and hilarity to the direction of The Extension and encourages all to tune in for a few stories and many laughs.

David is currently a junior at Indiana University majoring in Journalism, with a concentration in Spanish. He grew up in the wonderful city of Chicago, Illinois, although his career aspirations will hopefully land him in Los Angeles, California after college. When he is not entertaining the masses, you can usually find David on the basketball courts at HPER, or in his room blasting music, munching on snack food, and surfing the web. The Extension is an opportunity for David to share some of his unique perspectives with the rest of the world, and hopefully, make a few people laugh in the process.

Kate is a sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in design and production. When not working for IU Safety Escort or practicing parkour, Kate spends her time obsessively watching funny cat videos on YouTube and operating as a con artist. After she graduates, Kate hopes to become involved in creation of entertainment, be it scriptwriting, directing, editing or acting. As a writer, Kate has been credited for such famous lines as,“Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn,” and “You're gonna need a bigger boat.”

Amy Rosenberg is currently a sophomore majoring in telecommunications with a double concentration in production and design as well as industry and management. On top of that, she is also minoring in graphic design. When Amy is not utilizing facebook as a means of procrastination, you can find her editing for her favorite IUSTV show, The Extension, or harassing Jason Schechtman. After college, Amy plans to move to LA and become a famous editor for feature films.

Sarah is the baby in the clan, currently a freshman living in the dorms. She is majoring in Telecommunications with hopes to have an emphasis in Design and Production. Sarah plans to utilize her studies at IU to later start a career in NYC or LA. Unlike the rest of the group, Sarah is a GDI (does not partake in the Greek Life) but that doesn't mean she's not great! Sarah is full of media experience. From being an asset in her high school's media program all four years to becoming a regular staff member on The Extension, Sarah is truly one of a kind.

The Burge is currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, double majoring in statistics and economics. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity but dropped as soon as they started scheduling their chapter meetings at the same time as "American Idol". After an esteemed high school basketball career in which he ended up shooting, a state best, 100% from the field during his senior year (2 for 2, both open layups), he abruptly retired to focus on his true dream; trying to date Britney Spears. As soon as she went crazy, he gave up his dream, and started trying in school. He began writing as a way to threaten and ridicule celebrities and political figures from a distance, as he doesn’t have the balls to do it to their face. Since he is afraid of the idea of psychics, he is unwilling to disclose his post-college plans.

Chris is a sophomore between majors right now but he is being steered in the Telecommunications direction with maybe a minor in Psychology or Theatre. He is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and a member of the Indiana University Dance Marathon Morale Committee. Chris is unsure of his future plans at this point, but hopes to move to New York or California and get that opportunity to run into someone famous just so he can purposly say "Hey, you were in (insert wrong movie title)", just see their frustration/dissapointment. Realistically, he will settle for living with Jason Schechtman in Jason's parents basement. In his free time he enjoys catchin' a flick or two and ruining other people's pictures. He has an afinity for dance, khaki pants, and making others laugh. When asked about The Extension, he was quoted as saying "This is my real hair! Oh, wait...you mean't the show. Watch it.

Lauren is a senior at Indiana University graduating in 2010. Her major is Telecommunications with a Spanish minor and LAMP certificate. This summer, Lauren is moving to Los Angeles for an internship at American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, and after graduation she hopes to go back to Hollywood to pursue a career on television or in radio. When she is not on the streets of Bloomington asking people really personal and uncomfortable questions, you can find Lauren avoiding her homework and avoiding the gym. She also enjoys shopping when she has any money at all in her bank account, traveling, cooking, and selling her plasma for cash.

Adam is a Sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Entrepreneurship through the Kelley School Business. When he isn't watching a crazy amount of television, he's talking, thinking, or dreaming about television and as a result he enjoys writing, creating, and editing film projects. In addition, he loves to cook and hopes to someday open a restaurant and retire within six years of graduating college. Following his early retirement he plans to acquire his own super powers and defeat his future nemesis Josh Brown.

Joshua Brown is a Sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in design and production. Josh’s goal in life is to acquire superpowers and use them for evil. Flying or being able to freeze things are both acceptable. Josh has severe low self-esteem, so he is forced to make a fool of himself in front of the camera as much as possible so that people will notice him. Josh is constantly trying to use his vast knowledge of television and movies to seduce women, but has so far only been able to attract the clinically insane.

Sam is a sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in Design and production, and also minoring in Business. In his free time he enjoys movies, TV, Classic Rock music and chasing rabbits on his way home from parties. Sam believes in setting goals that aren't too unrealistic, which is why he aspires to make it through college, someday write and make movies or TV, and then become the all-being master of time, space, and dimension.

Lindsey is a sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in design and production and minoring in business and psychology. In her free time she enjoys drinking obscene amounts of Starbucks coffee in order to give her the energy to do everything else she loves: watching movies, playing piano (out of earshot of any music majors), taking embarrassing pictures of people, and mastering her N64 skills to an unheard of level. After graduation, she hopes to buy a pair of snowshoes and head to Chicago to pursue a career in post-production as an editor.

Will is a currently a sophomore at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in design and production. Will is from Indianapolis and is a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. In his free time, Will enjoys playing intense mini-hoops basketball in his apartment with his roommate, expressing that IU basketball is the greatest thing in the country, and taking advantage of the college life. When he's in the mood, Will makes his way to the HPER to play competitive 5-on-5 basketball and afterwards watch YouTube videos of Michael Jordan. Upon graduating from college, he plans on moving to Los Angeles just to walk around on Rodeo Drive and pretend he's rich and famous.

Dustin is a junior at Indiana University majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in Design and Production, and also minoring in Business. He is from Dallas, Texas, the greatest city/state combo in the country, and is so happy he left the warm state of Texas for the frigid Indiana. In his free time he enjoys watching early 90's non-animated Disney classics including The MightyDucks Trilogy, The Sandlot, and The Little Giants. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity and hopes that one day a recruiter will recognize his fraternity on his resume and give him a high paying job.

Stephanie is a junior from the Chicagoland area and is studying Telecommunications with a focus on industry and management. She is part of The Extension's team to help out the executive producer with any managerial and business matters dealing with the show, and talent scouting. Greco is also the secretary of the Blooming Artists Agency and the co-director of the BCEC PR/Advertising committee. She hopes to one day obtain a career in the business world of entertainment, specifically talent representation or publicity and promotions. She was thrilled to be on board with the show because she believes that The Extension will do great things for IUSTV and become more of a huge success than it already is with the number of talented people behind it!
